She ran as fast as she could through the dense fog of the forest, behind her she could hear the quick slithering of the nagas after her. She darted in between trees and around in circles to try and lose them, but she could hear them steadily getting closer. It was just her luck, she believed, that she’d end up getting lost on the one day she wanted to walk home from school! What did it matter then, though, when her life was on its final stretch. From behind the blonde-haired naga leaped out next to her, she turned and she screamed, for a split second all she could think of was being at home, safe in Alan’s arms. And then it was over. Darkness…
And then she felt warmth. She felt the warmth of Alan’s hand, and rolled over on her side to feel his hand with hers, only to realize it was not him. Momo quickly sat up and looked up, terrified, at the face of her captive. He had short brown hair that framed his face, with a high ponytail that was much longer than the rest of his hair. His eyes were almost golden, but just slightly closer to brown. This man, a giant like Alan, did not have the eyes of a captor. He looked down at her, somewhat… sympathetically. Momo eased, his hand was soft, and reassuring… similar to Alan’s.
“Who… are you?” she asked, gently, and tilting her head to the side. Her voice was a little bit deeper than most girls. She had short blue-black hair that framed her face similarly to his, and bright blue eyes. She could be short tempered, but when happy she was a very agreeable person, who could befriend nearly anyone.
He paused for a moment and looked up at the sky… he scratched the back of his head with his free hand, and after a moment of thought, he looked down at her again.
“Are you alright? You were almost taken out by the nagas, you know. Don’t you know these forests are their sanctuary? They don’t get humans very often.”
“That… wasn’t what I asked… but I’m alright. I thought… though… that I was going to… to die…”
He shook his head, “I stepped in, the nagas fear me. You fainted, was all. But you’re alright now, so everything’s alright.”
She couldn’t help but smile just a little bit, “Are there others like you around here?”
“Not particularly. I live alone out here with the nagas and the general forest creatures,” he replied with his free hand on his head, just above his ear. His ears, she could see now with the hair moved properly, were normal sized, but pointy. “Oh um, what are you doing out here?”
“I’m lost… I don’t know. I was walking home from school, and I got lost,” she let out a horrified gasp, “Alan! He doesn’t know where I am… he must be so worried! Oh Alan…”
“Where do you live?”
“You can’t miss it, it’s a ridiculously big building on the outside of the town… Why?”
“Let me take you home…”
“Oh no, I couldn’t let you do that… after all you’ve done for me already…”
“It would take you days to get back, it won’t take long for me to take you there. So let me take you, alright?” He had removed his hand from his head and placed it by his side, looking down at her with a somewhat of a ‘you don’t have much of a choice’ expression.
“I…well… oh… alright, thank you so much.”
He smiled gently, looked off in the direction of the town, and placed her on his shoulder, “You don’t need to thank me.”
“Oh yes I do, you have no idea… Alan is probably panicking by this point,” she said as he began to move, slowly at first so she could keep her balance, then more quickly.
“So Alan… what kind of person is he? Oh wait- where are my manners… what’s your name, first of all?”
She laughed a bit, “My name is Momoke Kit June, but everyone just calls me Momo. And you?”
“My name is… Alexander.”
“That’s too long!”
“What?” he said with a brilliant red blush, his head turned slightly to see her.
“Alexander is too long. I’ll just call you Alex. Oh, and Alan… his full name is Alanen, but… Alan suits him better. Oh but… he’s.. well, he’s a giant.”
“So that’s why you have a big house… heheh…” his blush was replaced with a healthy smile.
“Yes. It is… And Alan was the first giant I met. I met him when I was really little. He was big and scary, at first, but without him I wouldn't be where I am today! He saved me, really. Like you did, but in a different way. He's really kind and sweet, and he's always smiling. He's very careful, too, to make absolutely sure he's never harming anyone smaller than him. Hee hee, there’s this big tree in the back yard that he treats like a bonsai too. Alan loves plants! He's really gentle with it and everything. He can be really quiet sometimes, but he really loves to play around, too. Even when playing, though, he's very careful with me. Alan is... the reason I carry on from day to day. Without him, I'd be nothing. If he were to ever leave... I don't know what I'd do… Oh look! The town! That was really fast!”
The smile that had left Alex’s face returned, “Yes, I suppose you lost track of my pace while you were talking. And there’s your house, I see- so he’s Alan.”
“Yeah- that’s Alan,” she said with a big grin. Alan was standing in front of the house, he looked incredibly worried, as she knew he would. When he had seen Alex, and of course Momo on his shoulder, his face turned to a bit of a curious look. His eyes, though they still looked half-opened as they always did, were wide, and his mouth opened just a bit. Alan had dark dirty-blonde hair, which was poofy and went down a few inches past his shoulders. His freckles, under his eyes and over his nose, seemed to complete his gentle face.
Alex took Momo from his shoulder and held her out gently for Alan, with a smile and a nod. Alan took her and his smile returned. He rubbed his cheek very gently against her, and she felt completely at ease again. Alex turned to leave, but Momo called to him.
“Alex, would you stay with us? I know you can’t like to live alone, and you saved my life! Please, please would you stay with us?”
Alex stood still, his back towards them, “You know nothing about who I am and where I came from, but you’d still want me to live with you?”
“She says you’ve saved her life. Please, does it matter we know nothing of your past? All that matters is now. Please stay with us.” Alan said with a reassuring smile.
“…Alright, I’ll stay,” he said, turning around with a smile to match Alan’s.
There you go, the prologue to many misadventures of Momo, and her two giant friends Alan and Alexander. Have fun.

I wrote it, don't take it.
